A Huntington's disease treatment is closer than ever |

| Since it was discovered in the 1800s, people with Huntington's disease have faced a tragic reality: there is nothing medicine can offer to treat their genetic condition. | That may finally be changing. Encouraging results from a small study show that a new gene therapy slowed the progression of the neurodegenerative disorder in some patients by up to 75%.
