Coastal Living

Dear Coastal Living Readers,

For 21 years, Coastal Living has been a journal for those who are drawn to the sea, and hopefully a source of inspiration for your homes, your travels, and your summers. "We've launched Coastal Living with the conviction that there are ways of looking at life that connect all coasts and that enhance our lives no matter where we live," wrote Editor Katherine Pearson in that first issue in 1997. That mission hasn't changed, but starting now, we're making some big changes as we transition Coastal Living from a subscription-based magazine published 10 times a year to a seasonal publication for the newsstand only. The first of those issues will appear on newsstands everywhere in March 2019, just in time to start thinking about summer.

The November issue, which we've dedicated to the return of the Caribbean after Hurricanes Irma and Maria, will be the last issue you'll receive as a subscriber. The good news is that the new magazine will be bigger, even more beautiful, and printed on better paper. And a few things won't change like finding daily inspiration on coastalliving.com, reading our Best of the Beach newsletter, and by following @coastal_living on Instagram.

To our loyal fans and longtime subscribers, thank you for staying with us. We will be back soon, and better than ever. We'll make sure to let you know when that happens, how to find us, and how to stay connected to all things Coastal.

Sid Evans
Editor in Chief
