It's that time of year again: time to think about what we might want to do differently in the new year. Resolutions can be hard to keep if they are too vague: I will exercise more! I will stop smoking!
Maybe instead of resolutions, we can try New Year's goals. Goals are specific things that you can achieve. In 2023, you could make a goal of taking part in the All of Us Research Program to receive your DNA results and help researchers learn more about how to keep us healthy. |
This is bigger than just science |
The All of Us Research Program from the National Institutes of Health isn't just any research program. All of Us is combining science and diversity on a scale that no one has even attempted before. |
Equal representation in health research |
We're including groups of people who have been left out of health research in the past, which means we'll help researchers learn more than ever before about why ALL types of people stay healthy or get sick. More than 550,000 people are already participating in All of Us.
Plus, by sharing a little saliva or a blood sample, you could get your DNA results at no cost.
Here's to a healthy and happy 2023 for all! |
