How to spend time outside if you hate getting sweaty

Earlier this week, I went for a lengthy bike ride—but instead of enjoying the scenery, I felt overwhelmed by the sticky heat. That provided an opportunity to test out some of the advice I recently learned when I asked experts how to make spending time outside on sweat-inducing days more tolerable. Among the most effective strategies: lying down in a stream and pouring extra water over my head.
